There are multiple unofficial reports that Ukrainian forces have crossed the Dnieper and taken the city of Oleshky, somewhat to the east of Kherson, near a damaged bridge.

Susan! VT*Grand is feeling great! She has been symptom free long enough now that the school is allowing her to return to school wearing a mask. She actually went to play rehearsal tonight...masked. This is despite the fact that she is still testing positive. I do not understand that logic, but there you are. 🤷🏻♀️ I said I bet she was glad to be out of quarantine. And she said she actually isn't out of quarantine! She is allowed by the school to go to school now, but her parents still won't let her back into the house. She has to stay in the Teen Apartment over the garage until she tests negative. Wise of them, I think ... especially as her other grandmother lives with them.
In the CDC's wisdom... "People who are infected but asymptomatic or people with mild COVID-19 should isolate through at least day 5 (day 0 is the day symptoms appeared or the date the specimen was collected for the positive test for people who are asymptomatic). They should wear a mask through day 10."
Apparently "wisdom" is a relative term. We have tickets to her school play on Saturday afternoon (it starts Thursday), but even she suggests we not actually come, saying, "It will be an illness fest." I love her clear eyed honesty. We are hoping it will be live-streamed. Happy to donate our tickets.
