    2. The odd thing is that the Berniedoodle has three colors of fur. I don't recall ever having seen that in a dog.

    3. Sure you have...Beagles, for example.

    4. And how about Lassie? Collies have three colours, don't they?

You got me curious, so I looked it up.

    5. The interesting thing about Mokey dog is that he looks like a cartoon of himself! He is very sweet and gentle, but also still a 4 month old puppy. Bernedoodles are hypoallergenic, which is why Youngest and his family chose that breed. He's a much loved pup, that's for sure.

    6. Thanks for the list of tricolour dog breeds, listener; once again, I must be careful if I am to avoid learning something every day!

Kentucky flooding is just so bad

“A small creek in front of Youmans' house is about 8 or 10 feet wide and normally less than 6 inches deep, but during the flooding, trailers were moving down the creek, he said.”

    2. Quite so. No dodging personal responsibility for one's actions.

  5. The president felt better after taking Paxlovid, but like many others, his infection then rebounded. Why does this keep happening? [Click] It seems nobody really knows how much good it does—if any. It does seem that it probably doesn’t do any harm.

    1. We are continuing to pay for a century or so of trying to put out every forest fire immediately.

    2. And not just forest fires. Where I live used to be tall-grass prairie. What isn't residential or farmland is now mostly forest because people put out the fires that the prairie needed.

    3. I recall reading quite a few years ago that due to the decrease in small farms near eastern cities, the eastern forests had regrown over 60% of their former range (albeit with a different mix of species). The decrease in use of wood for heating and power also contributed.
