We got 6" of snow! ☃️ It's absolutely beautiful! It's heavy, wet snow, so I was surprised that we didn't lose power at all. Amazing. (Eldest, an hour south of us, did lose power for the evening.)
All the birches bent low to the ground and most of the bushes needed to be released from the weight of the snow as well. But the wind had died down by the time I went outside, and it only took about a half hour to get it all sorted. AND! I got a ton of super nice photos for our December blog! 😁
Today we're playing classical Christmas songs and making Christmas gifts for the grands. I'm working on this year's Grand Moments. Here's a preview:
From the Thanksgiving gathering (with 7 grands present)... First Grand [age 15] (with a sigh): “I’m the oldest grandkid!” Aunt: “You always have been.” First Grand (with a laugh): “Yeah, but now they all talk! And there are so many of them!”
