Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) told Fox News that President Biden had failed to “end COVID,” whereas his state was experiencing “great success” in treating patients.

  3. DeSantis sounds like a loon. "Great success" only in CREATING patients. He is a mass murderer.

I haven't checked Ohio's COVID numbers for a while. What's the use when we live in a land peopled with idiots. Last year on 8/25 the case count was 116,495. Yesterday the case count was 1,192,478.

  4. What Biden Should Tell Those Who Want to Stay [Click] Excellent proposal—force Congress to explicitly accept its war-making authority, which it has long since abdicated to the President.

    1. As memory serves me, the routers that have been demanded also serve numerous other agencies, including law enforcement. Letting such information loose could endanger prosecutions, among other things.

  6. The Big Scary ‘S’ Word: why are people so terrified of socialism? [Click] New Documentary due to be released September 3rd. Excerpt in the column that particularly caught my attention: “. . .when I would be traveling, meeting with different socialists in different parts of the country and there would be people over 75 or under 35 and such a small percentage in the middle.” I couldn’t help but note the writer’s confessed initial ignorance of the history of socialism in the US. I heard about the Seattle General strike when I was a boy; in those times and places the IWW was not forgotten, and was respected. She mentions some interesting things and overlooks others; for instance, there is no mention of “sewer socialists.”
