It seems there was only one earthquake yesterday/earlier today--the one south of Lake Tahoe, M6. The other was a computer mistake.
ReplyDeleteWell, there was the one 6.0, followed by 3 aftershocks greater than 4.5 (5.2, 4.6, and 4.6) and numerous smaller aftershocks.
DeleteI just counted them. There was one small foreshock, then the 6.0, followed by 142 aftershocks, 139 of them smaller than 4.5.

That said, there was some sort of brown caterpillar that elder Grandson saw recently and when I went to pick it up he yelled for me not to touch it, because it's poisonous. Since he (at age 8) a walking encyclopedia, I did not touch it.

Rather warm here; reporting weather stations around the area reporting about 110F plus/minus four degrees, which probably means our back yard is about 102. We plan to do some weeding in the evening.

DeleteThat time of day it probably would have been 15-18%.
DeleteWhen we went outside a little after 7PM to pull weeds in the back yard, I checked the air temperature from the thermocouple hooked up to the swimming pool equipment, and it said 97F (in the shade).
