  1. In Vermont, Covid restrictions will be lifted when 80% of eligible Vermonters are vaccinated.

    As of June 6, 2021, we’re at 79.2%

    1. ^ Currently, this translates to: a little more than 70% of all Vermonters have been vaccinated.

    2. It's now definite that restrictions in Illinois will be lifted Friday. Currently 42% of all Illinoisans are fully vaccinated, but that doesn't count those who have had one shot or are waiting for the two weeks to expire.

    3. Second shot is good, though "fully vaccinated" requires those extra two weeks.

  5. I was just reading an article (behind a leaky paywall) about the neurological symptoms/consequences of Covid-19. Not enough studies have been done to explain them, but (1) it does not seem to infect the brain, and (2) there are indications that the neurological symptoms (brain fog, loss of senses of taste & smell, etc.) may be due to autoimmune reactions.

  7. brought concrete, worked on bridge, river
    gardened (pumpkins, strawberries)
filled water keeper (kitchen) and stock tank (storeroom)
brought in clean laundry, took away dirty laundry
put peatmoss in composting toilet, filled peat bucket, removed a good deal of composted poop/kitchen waste, put on garden
    vacuumed, mopped

    fixed desk drawer
    brought groceries
identified source of water on floor (my 25 year old water keeper has sprung a leak--is really a slant lid recycling bin. Well done good and faithful servant. New one is on its way. New one is 18 gallons vs old one's 16, woohoo..)
