Parks Pass
Town Hall
On Thursday, Bill and I went over to our Town Hall, because our wonderful Town Clerk was sitting at a table outside all day just so that those of us who are 62 or more could pop by and, for $2 each, receive a State Parks Pass that is good for the rest of our lives!!
Awesome!! I love Vermont! 💚

DeleteApparently even among those with great ability to cover up and lie.
My desire to see Donald flee the country ahead of the minions of the law seems likely to be frustrated. But the perp walk is still a possibility. If he is not preparing to to flee to his bolt hole, he ought to be researching the various long-term detention facilities available, to see which he might ask for. Alas, lobster barbecues and golf seem to have been discontinued at all of them.
DeleteI'd rather see him incarcerated than have the opportunity to flee and set up a shadow government in exile.
DeleteI gather that the standard deal for political asylum is that the guilty party must stay put and refrain from any political activities. That would include political speech, and keeping his mouth shut is probably beyond his ability.

WaPo: Trump is sliding toward online irrelevance. His new blog isn’t helping. [Click]
ReplyDeleteOn the Internet, former president Donald Trump is sliding toward something he has fought his entire life: irrelevance. Online talk about him has plunged to a five-year low. He’s banned or ignored on pretty much every major social media venue. In the last week, Trump’s website — including his new blog, fundraising page and online storefront — attracted fewer estimated visitors than the pet-adoption service Petfinder and the recipe site Delish.
Let him get a little more desperate for attention and he should be ready prey for Borat or some other caller pretending to be a network star.
