Yesterday was windy, with big cumulus clouds forming over the mountains, and some cirrus clouds. Temperature inside the house this morning 69 deg. F. The newspaper informs us that there was snow down to about 5,000 feet! VERY unusual.
As a further comment on gun violence in Chicago: Yesterday there wre 18 shootings in the city, six fatal. In every case the shooter was in a public space; a significant number were drive-by shootings. Well, there was one victim to drove himself to the hospital but refused to discuss the circumstances of the shooting. That could theoretically have been domestic violence, but it seems unlikely.
