It's amazing to think we've all been together this long, isn't it?

  3. Bill, so glad it hasn't been too bad for you and Penny than being really tired and a little sore. I bet you'll be feeling fine by the end of Thursday.

And that Susan is muddling along all right.

You are all such a good group of peeps. I'm crazy busy through Monday, but am thinking of you all!

  7. Time definitely flies. Stevie, of whom we made a "Kittens for Dean" sign back in the day, is almost 18.

    1. Wow!! Stevie is 18~!?! It takes me two cats, these days, to add up to 18. LOL!

Please give Stevie a pat from me! Good kitty!! 😺

  8. Doctor appointment this afternoon. The bad news turned out to be false. They thought my blood work showed I was diabetic, but the medical student assisting noticed that the number they were reading as hemoglobin A1C was actually my calcium level. My actual hA1C was perfectly normal. And the numbers for my kidney function had improved considerably now that I am no longer on that powerful diuretic. Nothing else of particular concern.

    2. I hope the people misreading the lab report felt appropriately chastened, and will be more careful in the future. Yep, all good.

    3. I don't know about chastened, but the doctor was quite visibly relieved and pleased.

  9. Mom and I get our vaccination a week from tomorrow. Scheduled for between 9:00 AM and noon. Godawful early, but I'm so excited I'm not even thinking about complaining. We're getting J&J - One and done! :)

  10. Last night I started a reread of Arthur C. Clark's The Fountains of paradise. Can't remember how many times I've read it, but it's been several years, so time to return to Taprobane.
