Grandchild-proofing


Three grands, ages 8, 5 and 2 are coming today for an overnight. 
The 5 year old is destined to be a hair stylist,
so I have gathered and securely hidden 11 pair of scissors.
Let the Wild Rumpus start!

    I know how grown up and responsible I felt at five. I would have been very sad if I thought any one thought of me as a little kid. Lol!

      Oh yes. Can't quite remember five, but definitely by six I was a big and very responsible girl. :)

      In January 2020, she cut her hair. A lot.

      On the same day of January, in 2021, she cut her little sister's hair.

      I didn't want to wake up bald. 😆

    My Covid screen was negative, so that means none of us have it-as expected. But boy, that specimen collection was not pleasant!

    My mother fell asleep once while babysitting my favorite daughter, who was about two. FD found the manicure scissors and trimmed the hair on the crown of grandma's head down to 1/2".

    I must just wave hallo and get to sleep. It's entirely possible that the two year old will waken during the night. Wish me luck!
