I noticed the link to what I assume was a multi-page research paper. But my major point was that what I see in Illinois and what I see in Wisconsin don't look to me like at all the same thing. Is spread really uncontrolled when the number of daily new cases is stable? I would think that cases would be surging if spread were completely uncontrolled.
I wondered at the time why he was released from the hospital so soon. Sounds like malpractice, if you ask me.. OTOH he is the Commander and chief and thus the ultimate boss of all those Army and Navy doctors. So, I suppose he brought pressure to bear. Still malpractice to release a patient who continues to have difficulty breathing. You know, Trump is his own worst enemy.
No hospital can keep any patient against his/her will. It would be interesting to know if his medical records say he was released "against medical advice," but those records are private.
New Battleground State Polls October 9, 2020 at 9:44 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Reflecting on Pence’s sudden unexplained return from the campaign trail to Washington, I wonder if it might be because Trump can’t bear the thought of being upstaged by Pence. But, in today’s news: Vice President Mike Pence and second lady Karen Pence have requested mail-in absentee ballots from Indiana, WISH reports. This comes after the vice president and his wife postponed a scheduled trip to Indianapolis in order to vote early on Friday. No reason was given. What the Devil?
That being as it may, there are too darn many stories to make links to them all (I am running late today, morning is gone), so I will just list headlines, mostly:

In one of his most reality TV star-in-chief moves yet, President Trump is going to be examined by a physician on Friday night in a segment that will be broadcast exclusively by Fox News.
Trump seems so agitated that I have honestly begun to wonder if, as the election returns roll in, he might check out the way Goebbels did; one argument agains that is the evidence of his terror of death: “Am I going out like Stan Chera? Am I?” [Click] On the other hand, he is probably doped up with dexamethasone and could very well be suffering from Covid-induced “brain fog.”
