Snoopy's ready for Christmas

THIS was created on Saturday at Son's house (where our family gathering will be on Dec. 16th).
Shhhhh...it's primarily to surprise the family!
The dog house came with the house and he has no dog, so he's been saving it for this purpose!

    1. Thanks, Susan! The yellow item up on the left has a pinwheel at the front and it spins nicely in the wind. The lights are really cool. They work by remote control and can make 74 different colour and pattern designs. Each lightbulb is clear, and the colour of each changes as the lights flash. It's so funny! You can also leave them on (no flash) and all one colour, if you choose. The kids are going to have a blast with that! LOL!

We found Snoopy wrapping paper and after food and sledding and gift opening the kids will watch the (original) Charlie Brown Christmas Special, while the adults play cards (with Peanuts decks! LOL!).

Son doesn't know it yet, but we got him some really nice Peanuts ornaments from Etsy. Wil and I are really looking forward to the gathering!

Exceedingly condensed summary of a cogent opinion piece behind a paywall on who could win the Democratic Presidential nomination, and be able to win the office:
    WHO CAN FILL AN ARENA?
Political parties’ infrastructure no longer controls who will be their nominees—the people decide. No more “invisible primary.” How to gauge a candidate’s viability? See who can fill an arena. Bernie could, and nearly seized the Democratic nomination despite the greater residual power of the party establishment at that time. Obama and Trump both bypassed the party establishment, and had the ability to fill an arena. So who might be able to do that this time around? It is a short list. Maybe Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Beto O’Rourke, Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris if they begin campaigning seriously.

Foggy this morning because there has been enough rain. Good. Glad we didn’t run into much on the way to the Bay Area yesterday.

    1. Of course, as we all recall, it was Bernie (not HRC) who filed stadiums last time. Polls suggested he had a far better chance of defeating DT than had HRC. But the DNC threw the will of the People out the window because it was supposedly HRC's "turn." (It's not supposed to be a monarchy! There aren't supposed to be turns!!)

And, of course, of all the potential candidates, it is Bernie who is out there every single day working for the People, staying on message, and still drawing huge crowds.

    2. Did you know that the Anglican Cathedral in Montreal decided to use the block it sits upon for a special use? Beside the Cathedral, they built a small skyscraper (pale gray, with beautiful, rose-tinted windows pointed at the top!) to house the needy.

    3. Also, underneath the church's undercroft is the metro and shops!
