It seems that there is a draft Brexit agreement, to be voted on by the UK Cabinet. Customs border in the Irish Sea to prevent hard border between Erie and Northern Ireland.
It looks like autocorrect messed up one word. Erie is in Pennsylvania. Eire is the largest part of Ireland. (I know this because I am half Irish and once lived in Erie. LOL!)
I heard that on NPR today and it broke me little half-Irish heart to think of such a boundary between Northern Ireland where my Great Grandmother hailed from (Sligo), and Eire where my Great Grandfather called home (Dublin).
I also caught the misspelling. This wont affect me as it might have: I had tentatively planted to attend the World Science Fiction Convention in Dublin next year, followed by the European Science Fiction Convention in Belfast the following weekend. But Penny is adamant that she would miss me too much, so I'm not going after all.

Can't blame autocorrect.
