  1. What puddle said! And in the way of other probably overdue happenings:

‘Whoever wins South Carolina will be the Democratic nominee’ [Click] “Presidential prospects rethink primary election strategy for 2020.”

    1. Is South Carolina before the heavily Southern "rump Super Tuesday"? I didn't recall that.

    2. Bill— it took me a bit of snooping around, but here are two lists of 2020 primary dates in chronological order. —Alan

per Election Central [Click] A lot of dates not decided (placed at the bottom of the list).

per The Green Papers [Click] Many dates estimated, but reasonably so.

South Carolina is the first southern state; the next ones come on March 3rd, mixed with a number of non-southern states.

    3. Thanks. The original article mentioned California moving its primary earlier, which creates something resembling "super Tuesday" again, especially with the Massachusetts primary also on that date. There's also the Vermont primary and Minnesota caucus, but otherwise it's all Southern.

    4. I’m hoping that Stephen Colbert, being from S.C., will have a field day with the S.C. primary.
So, if the Dems are only interested in S.C., does that mean the rest of us needn’t bother? Or could it mean a 49 state strategy by an Independent could win the election? 😉

    1. Almost home! I was surprised to be able to post at all from my new phone; my password must have carried over. Now i’m mystified as to why it won’t accept a photo from my phone.
