Universal healthcare was unthinkable in America, but not any more [Click] “Barack Obama dropped a bombshell into the healthcare debate roiling the Democratic party last Friday.” I learned a new term: the Overton Window [Click] I remain somewhat surprised that there is not more explicit public discussion of modeling the US health care system on that of Germany, which seems the most readily suited to the US. And the East German system of polyclinics (now being slowly adopted in the former West Germany) is also appealing. In short, the German system is supported by multiple funding sources, and there is competition in the completely private delivery system. You don’t like the service you get from a health care provider? Take your insurance card and your business to a competitor. The whole system was set up to undercut the Marxist political parties.
We're talking about "Medicare for all." Since Medicare sans supplement doesn't really cover everything, that implies multiple funding sources. And you can take your Medicare card to (almost) any healthcare provider.

“He’s not going to survive Manafort’s testimony… I think there’s a substantial possibility that this evidence that Manafort is offering will implicate somebody up the chain.”

HALLO! Made it to Maine and back again. We walked the Marginal Way as the Atlantic was coming to high tide. Captivatingly beautiful, and so amazing to see such calm there knowing what was going on to the south. I have to be up and out early to convene a Peer meeting in NH. So it will be a day or two before photos show up and I become more conversant around here. ;-) SOON!!
It IS pretty good, isn't it, lol! ?

Rain seems to have stopped. Can't hear the river at all. So blessedly, for the moment, nothing's happening.
