Ah, rats! The weather prediction for today is (again) 101F, not ninety-something.
Thinking about Joe Biden, he seems to have the necessary vigor for a presidential campaign. I think Raul Grijalva or Eric Garcetti would be good running mates for him, not that they are the only ones. Grijalva seems to have been pretty quiet since endorsing Bernie, though. And the whole of Arizona is about half the population of the city of Los Angeles.

P.S.: In the County of Los Angeles, the board of supervisors is a step UP from US Representative... And the LA metro area sprawls over into neighboring counties; it is a very large polity and a major economic center. Garcetti sure looks like he is laying the groundwork for a Presidential campaign.
It was 84F here today, with humidity around 87%. Tomorrow we're looking at 90F and 91F for Monday. Humidity starts out at 94% and will get down to 42% at the hottest part of the day...then back up.
Candidates who run trying to lure in moderate Republicans really annoy me. "Hello, I'm Mr. Milquetoast, please vote for me and I'll protect the status quo and I won't upset anyone."
If trump comes down to shill for Balderson he has already forgotten his name once and he (trump) also seems incapable of talking about anything but his imagined accomplishments, how everybody is so "unfair" to him, Witch Hunt, yada yada yada. Every canned speech is the same.
I see why people disengage from politics. It's about as appealing as swimming in a septic tank.

Amen. The only thing worse than engaging in politics is leaving it up to other people.
