Re the first link: Establishment, Republican Lite Dems don't want to win. They want to be in the minority so they can blame and whine but have no responsibility. That's why Progressives with energy and workable ideas alarm and disconcert them so much. And that's why they expend so much time and hot air belittling said Progressives. It's disgusting, not to mention counterproductive. All the New Dems have to be cleared away like so much dead wood before the real work of fighting and counteracting the extreme Right lunatic fringe can even begin. The New Dems are enablers at worst and obstructionists at best. They represent a distraction from the real problem, yet that distraction has to be dealt with. It makes getting anything done damned difficult.
I swung by Costco and got a fan[Click] for my den/office this morning. Easy to find—they had a bank of them just inside the front door. Home Depot (which doesn’t treat its employees well) had about the same thing as Costco (which does treat its employees well) for twice the price.
Dems can’t win if they don’t fight, and will lose if they do? Rubbish.[Click]
