    2. So true--but it is nice to see someone cogently identifying the problem. Well, maybe all them uppity wimmin [Click] will help to restore the People's Party.

  2. Hallloooo! How is everyone?

I enjoyed three days with my dearest friend, having stayed up too late and gotten up too early each day. We talked and talked and talked and we did some sight seeing. I was floating and exhausted when she left yesterday. Today I had to get up even earlier for spiritual guidance meetings an hour south of me. Happy but so tired! As it turned out, the third person, a clergy member, whom I was to meet with, needed to postpone due to a death in her congregation. So I was able to head home in time to pick up from school the daughter of my neighbor with the knee injury. Then I came home and had a TWO HOUR nap!! Ahhhhhhhhh.

So now I am beginning to catch up on the news I've missed, and I'm not liking what's been happening while I was playing. I just spent more than an hour catching up on news of immigrant children waiting in cages. What are we the people doing about it? Is there an organised campaign to shoehorn Congress into acting? Good for Sen. Jeff Merkley for poking his nose into the situation and exposing what he witnessed.

Certainly not news that Trump is helping Russia as much as he can. The question in my mind is whether Trump is a Russian asset or a Russian agent.

    3. I dunno, Cat. I keep hoping he turns out to be an Russian asset, because then he can be taken out for treason.

  5. As I understand the terms, an asset could be a useful idiot; an agent is someone who works for or on behalf of another.
