  1. Love fabric and that picture makes my fingers itch. I'm trying hard not to buy more because I probably have more than I can sew up in my lifetime.

I'm trying really hard to get off the computer tonight, so will leap off after this comment. It's just that the really bad news has dropped so thick and fast today I'm afraid of what I might wake up to tomorrow.

I read that Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein is going to make some kind of announcement on TV around 10 a.m. or so in the morning. I shudder to think what might come next.

    1. I just got around to reading your excerpt from the Palmer Report, Susan; I enjoyed the writing, and the similes--I keep seeing the little Trump flambe circling the drain! So far Rosenstein has been upright and unintimidated; we shall see what the morrow brings. And someone noted that if Mueller is fired, he can simply release his report as it stands--sort of a political Molotov Cocktail. And it is to be expected that he has either been sharing information with the Attorney General of New York (where many of the crimes were committed, and where the pardon power of the POTUS does not reach) or is prepared to do so. No need rent a Ryder truck to move the paperwork--it can be delivered electronically in seconds.

  3. Thunder and pouring rain around sundown--it has been going on for quite a while. Not unprecedented, but unusual—certainly not every year.

P.S.: I tried to send this around 8PM, but no dice. Maybe because of the WiFi network security at work? Or Blogger? Trying now from home.

  4. Rats! Dear Leader signed the omnibus spending bill, so now there is nothing to stop the congresscritters from fleeing DC before the kids arrive tomorrow. I suppose Dear Leader himself will toodle on down to Merry Lago.

  5. My MINI is all fixed and ready!!! YAYYYYY!!!!

Plus I found a "mad bomber" style Hanna Andersson hat on Ebay and it came today in time for the March For Our Lives tomorrow! We are expecting a little snow during the March, so this will really help.

    Good day.

    1. Assistance required for the culturally deprived: darned if I can figure out what distinguishes a "mad" bomber hat from a bomber hat, or for that matter a pilot hat or a trapper hat. It doesn't seem that the hat is particularly crazy, nor does it seem to have any obvious association with an insane wearer. It looks like it should be practical for cold weather, though! And pretty close to an ushanka.

    2. I keep thinking of that little Trump Flambé circling the drain; that I can picture; but for the life of me, I can't imagine listener as a mad bomber, hat or not...

    3. I think of it as akin to Snoopy's WW1 Flying Ace hat.
