♥ Thank you SO MUCH for creating Friday's post, Cat!! ♥
Littlest Grandson arrived from Maine with his Mama today and I completely blanked on the need to update the blog!! I think I'm back on track now. I have posts ready through Tuesday morning, and will have time at that point to extend them. All good! Yours is all set for 1:00am. I hope you don't mind that I enlarged it to make it easier to read. That was good quick thinking on your part!!
Anyone is free to set something to post at ANY time. If you have the keys, post away. If you don't have keys but would like to post something, simply email it to me and I'll post it for you. Happy 3rd Day of Christmas!
On this day 45 years ago, Mah*Sweetie (hereafter referred to as Wil), proposed and I said yes. Tonight also marks 43.5 years (to the day) since our Wedding. Still happiest together! 💙💙
LOL Alan. I'm hardly a Democratic Party notable. Can't quite make up my mind to change party registration. If it had been possible at the time of the Democratic Convention last year and its nomination of HRC, I'd have done it in a heartbeat. Now though, I really don't know. Our Revolution and Bold Progressives, as well as DFA, are doing good work... The Greens are not a viable alternative on the national level, and on the state level they seem to have any kind of hold only in California. You need to work with what you have. So an insurgency within the Democratic Party, contesting down ballot races that the establishment has no interest in, as well as higher level races like the Alabama senate seat they have written off, is the way to go. And, yes, it is largely younger people, now I come to think of it. Some of them are also both inexperienced and naive, which is frustrating. Still, they do have energy and drive. I am, knock on wood, guardedly optimistic about 2018.
Ayup. I am at heart still a New Deal Democrat (somewhat improved model, I flatter myself), which is what I think of as conservative. The young folks are the ones who have the energy, and more power to them. Fingers crossed for 2018. I will have to investigate Whatshisname Garcetti, the mayor of Los Angeles, who looks like he is getting ready for a run at the Presidency in 2002. I don't like either of the alleged frontrunners, both Democrats, for the governorship, but since there is no way to cast a protest vote, I may well not vote for either of them.
Phew! Was wondering where I put Sheriff Chuck's phone number. *smile*

Just to be clear.... our Anniversary was the 28th, not the 29th.
