I received a update from Bernie et al that Wikipedia had it right (well, they didn't credit Wikipedia, but agreed)--that Bernie and HRC are tied for elected delegates at 51 each. I had sent a little more love to Bernie for South Carolina, and will send a bit more for Super Tuesday.
We had our new dishwasher installed (sort of--I had to finish the electrical work and redo part of the plumbing), and now we are having some electrical weirdness--have to get an electrician in to figure it out. The company that wired our house is still in business, so I contacted them. There might have been some changes in the electrical code since 1993.
Our long-time go-to lodging place in Berkeley, where we stayed last night, had very obviously changed hands (I see for 9.3 megabucks this past November) and has gone downhill quite a bit. Much as I regret it, we now need to find another place to stay. I sent in a new review to tripadvisor.com.
listener, ignore me on the subject of checkers--that speech was my introduction to politics, and has lived long in my soul. Still makes my skin crawl. My little dog checkers along with Pat's Republican cloth coat--Tricky's kickoff into the wide world of national politics.

The doctor called Sis late yesterday afternoon to pass on the pathology report that the lump was benign! Huge sigh of relief!
