Working for Bernie feels a little like coming full circle.

  2. Went to the doctor today and got the hoped-for recommendation for physical therapy. I'm long overdue for a tuneup. The next hurdle is the PT evaluation, but assuming that goes well, I'll be back at PT for the rest of the Summer. I'm anticipating that it will be tough at first, since I'm not in such great shape. In the long run though it will be a very good thing.

Now reading Frenchman's Creek by Daphne du Maurier. First read it some forty years ago, but have only the sketchiest of memories. So far I'm enjoying it. But then, I always enjoy Daphne du Maurier.

    1. Good for you, Catreona, being so willing. PT is not for sissies. Hope it starts soon and goes smoothly enough.

I'm still reading Addie Pray by Joe David Brown, because I have no time! Argh.

    2. Well, Listener, there is definitely a 'been there, done that' aspect of PT for me, since it has been a part of my life, off and on, for about forty-five years. Unfortunately, it's been off for rather too long this time, and my commonsense (such as it is) finally overcame my inertia.

  3. I liked the way you said that:
"my commonsense finally overcame my inertia."

I'd say that happens with me too. Hurrah for common sense!!
