Absolutely. Although I occurs to me that as far as we know Howard is still on board for Hilary while (AFAIK) everyone here is supporting Bernie. We found that out in 1929 and the lesson was repeated in 2007.
I especially like Bernie's mantra, "A bank too big to fail is too big to exist." Although I don't think sheer size is the point. The point is that commercial banking and investment banking are incompatible activities.
"He is the rising star of the battle to be the Democratic nominee for president. But who is the real Bernie Sanders? His close friends and family shed new light on what is motivating the 73-year-old senator, while never-before-seen documents from his first foray into politics – as a Vermont mayor – reveal activist roots that were 30 years ahead of their time."
“Another [campaign operative] acknowledges the difficulty of managing the boon in grassroots support, suggesting that Sanders supporters may need to be left to their own devices and 'self-organise, organically’”.
How about free-range, too? Gotta send Bernie a little more love...and get a bumper sticker. Even though the official ones are rather more conventional than I should prefer.
That campaign comment sounds almost exactly like the difficulties listener was having with them.
Also, for me, harks back to the WW episode where Josh is trying to get his candidate to work with the activists, and his guy just wants to get out and make the big speeches, 'cause he believes he's only got two months before wash out. Also a problem that Howard had.
In all my years in politics, of calling local headquarters and volunteering, the only time I ever actually was given a job, material and instructions, was the Carter campaign. . . .
Way too exhaustified for details, but suffice for the moment to say we took care of Grandson today while his parents Closed on their House of Dreams, and we survived even though (instead of his usual 2-4hr nap) he took only a 25 minute nap! Busy guy!! Everyone is DELIGHTED, though!! And he'll live nearby now!! Hurrah!!! Perfect weather for moving in, too: upper 60s and mostly sunny!
Cute kitties and Howard are first.

Oops. The last sentence of the first paragraph should be the last sentence of the second paragraph.
DeleteThat's OK. One of the qualities we love about Howard is his loyalty, even if it is sometimes misplaced.

Hmmm.... "Free Range Voter for Bernie" maybe?
