Awaiting Sun and Flowers...

  1. Howard's first, of course.

We got about ten inches. Snowed most of the day. Hard, crisp snow. Minus zero temps and windchills tonight. swept a path across the porch from door to stairs. Da boy seems like frolicking in the snow.

  2. Oh my, puddle. It seems insane that you got 10" and we got none. Mother Nature has been drugged.

  3. End of a long day for me. I'm looking forward to a long Winter's nap!

At one point this evening, the cats both heard an odd noise, sat straight up, and one of them growled. I looked outside from all the related windows, and could see well given the bright full moon. But not a creature was stirring. Personally, I think the sound came from the washing machine. LOL!

  4. I still like my idea of repurposing the Keystone XL pipeline to bring all that undesired precipitation back out here where it belongs and would be appreciated... it would provide a lot of jobs during construction, and the occasional pipeline failure would have fairly benign consequences. The GOP gets its pipeline, and the Dems get environmental bona fides; what's not to like?
