Happy Cinco de Mayo!

This Cinco de Mayo Quilt was made by the Buda Bee Quilters in Texas.  The pattern is less than 15 years old, so it's rather rare.  More photos here: http://willywonkyquilts.blogspot.com/2012/10/details-cinco-de-mayo.html

  1. Howard's mosty firsty!

Susan, just a note to say: how awful about the house, land, trees. Devastating, really.

  2. Hi. Is that two different parts of the same quilt or two different quilts? I particularly like the upper photo. First t thought on first glance, butterfly wings! Very interesting indeed.

  3. Susan, I have been thinking of your post from yesterday all day, but was on the run until now. It is heartbreaking how much beauty isn't sufficiently appreciated anymore. It's like declaring that a human is only worth what they do.

  4. Last evening we painted the downstairs hallway (again) because the colour I chose a few months ago didn't look that good beside the pretty new wallpaper. It's much brighter down there now. Today I had some serious running around to do. Had a friend over for lunch, then zoomed to pick up VT*Grand for her dance class, and Root*Center*Son came for dinner. He was rewarded with our old recliner, since our couches are coming on Wednesday.

Tomorrow I'm working at the polls, as we're having another school budget vote, then off to the Library to work.
