Howard is still first, though I don't hear about him these days. Elizabeth Warren is my kind of Democrat. I really DO NOT WANT Hillary Clinton.
What especially ticked me off about the house and forest destruction is this... Three miles from there is a shopping center that was full when I moved here in 2002. It had a dry cleaner, Weight Watchers, a copy shop, a Subway, a bank, a drugstore and a JoAnn Fabric store. I know there were others, but I can't remember them right now. You know what's there now? A Weight Watchers (part time), a Subway and a health club/gym. All the rest of the stores have sat there empty year after year after year. So why don't they move businesses into those stores instead of tearing down part of our history and our environment? The video store on another corner has stood empty for a good seven years. Closer to the grocery there's another small strip of stores with ONE occupied.
I find myself wonder why you are so violently against Clinton. Not that I am a big Clinton fan -- there were reasons beyond his home state why I supported Obama in 2008. But you seem to feel more strongly than I do and I wonder what the specific reasons may be.
I am, as you put it, "violently against Clinton" for the following reasons: 1. When she campaigned against Obama she ran the dirtiest, most Republican-like campaign I have ever seen from a Democrat, 2. Last winter she had some sort of health crisis that led to hospitalization., 3. She is far too much to the Right for me to ever support her., 4. I do not want another Presidency that reeks of dynastic visions, I want no more Clintons as much as I want no more of the Bush clan., 5. Bill Clinton as First Gentleman, with his proclivity for extra-marital activity, would be a freaking nightmare.
There is no doubt that she is highly intelligent, but I still don't want her. I want a President who will fight for the people, not cave to the Republicans. My brother told me a recent poll showed that Americans want "more compromise". This, of course, has the Republicans dancing in glee. What they do not realize is that people want more compromise from the Republicans. No more episodes of 50 attempts to sabotage a program their tea party buddies don't like.

That is utterly scattered and crazy. It sounds like your town/city planners are falling down on the job.
