    This morning the sun was up by the time I left for work at 0630. I saw some grain being harvested, but no other notable agricultural goings-on.

    1. The article about the numbers stations was fascinating. Thanks, Alan. It does sound like the sort of thing Cristie might have used in one of her thrillers.

      BTW I finished Toward Zero last night. Though it does include a twist that some might consider unrealistic or overly romantic, I found the book most satisfying.

    1. Well, so much for ordering the watch. Their web site is exceptionally badly designed, completely screen reader inaccessible, and at that I can't make much sense of it visually either. So, no ordering of the watch. Rats!

  4. The forsithia and the white magnolia are in bloom. Very heartening! No doubt other things are in bloom too, but t hat's all I saw.
