Buds

  1. Okay, let's get this blog filled up with interesting tidbits. :-)

BTW, those buds are not outside near my house. They are inside at the Supermarket, and for sale. Some folks really need some Spring.

  2. I was thinking last night, as nodding off, that I need to find some spring things to wear, and get rid of all the knitted/wooly/fuzzy stuff. And I couldn't (and can't) remember *what* I wore before the cold came. Or where such stuff might BE.

    1. I hear you, puddle! Last year I found one more box of my best Summer things…in October.

(It was in the walk-in closet, if that helps any! LOL!)

  3. Just popping in for a minute. Finished two quilts for my twin granddaughters last week. Currently working feverishly on a fund-raising quilt for my daughter's school. Have two more lined up to be done, so I'm mostly just sewing, sewing, sewing and sewing. The Supreme Court should be ashamed, if they still HAD the capacity to be shamed.

    1. I admire you for your generous quilting, Susan. They will always have those quilts, and be warmed by then in several ways. It's a legacy.

The Supreme Court is a misnomer!

  4. It's important to remember that the Supreme Court didn't change the amount that a person could contribute to any given campaign, only, in effect, the number of campaigns somebody could contribute to. Not sure it makes much difference.
Besides, I remain convinced that ordinary people can out-contribute the big money guys simply because there are so many more of us. That, above all else, was the lesson of the Dean campaign.

    1. Here's a think piece about said SC decision:
