91F and humid yesterday 90F and very humid today Impressive thunderstorms just came through Some roads are still closed due to last week's washouts Big party on the town green today for the town's 250th Anniversary More thunderstorms and heat tomorrow
It's supposed to be back up around 100 degrees in Fresno this weekend.
Driving out to Coalinga this morning it was clear that the farmers have planted a lot of beans this year, and I think they planted more winter wheat than they usually do. I don't see any safflower this year. The milk cows at what I take to be an organic dairy sure seem to have a nicer life than those at the conventional dairies.
22 days until the Dean Campaign's 10th Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteToday is my town's 250th Anniversary!
*Another* awful hot day. Jeepers, the worst winter evah to be followed by the worst summer evah?
ReplyDeleteThe last few days here have been rainy off and on and humid. Around 80 Thur and Fri, around 70 today. Not too bad despite the humidity.
