Quick trip to Las Vegas next Tuesday to help a small local clinical/forensic lab fend off an attempt by a big out of state lab that's all hat and no cattle to grab a significant county contract for drug testing.
Trip to Las Vegas off; the public agency has reconsidered and extended the little guys' contract. The little guy thanked me for my help. On another note, what I though was one job for the Navy turns out to have been two--one close to home, the other (I think) in San Diego. Awaiting details.
