Got the photo up out front about 8 seconds before 1:00am. LOL! Now we're all set through May 11th. :-)
We got to hold Grandson again last night! He was restless until swaddled in a "Swaddle-me" blanket. It was pea green and his little green frog hat was just enough askew that he looked just like a pea in a pod. So cute!!
We also brought gifts and a meal and took home their laundry (which is now all clean and folded or hung and will get dropped off midday). :-)
He's definitely Rowan. It's a Celtic favourite, referring to the Rowan tree. I believe Leo is because he was conceived under the zodiac sign Leo. I lean more to Celtic than to zodiac, so I'm happy. :-)
Weather warming up here; in the 90's today. It seems we will have almost no cherries this year; I think it was raining when the bees would have been pollinating same, so most of the flowers simply withered away. Well, next year is another year.
Alan, I sent that link to his parents a few days ago. I love that other names for the Rowan tree are Delightbof the eyes, Whitty, Wiggin, and Thor's Helper. ;-)
Howard Dean is grand!

I bet Mama is still exhaustified! It was kind of you to do laundry for them, listener.
DeleteSo, is Baby gonna be known as Rowan or as Leo? I think Leo is a loverly name. Rowan is nice too, but my vote, if I had one, would be for Leo.

ReplyDeleteI would vote for Rowan (grin): Wikipedia: Rowan in mythology and folklore [Click]

Of course he's likely to be "Ro" if he's not "RL" or something.
