No idear. Though I hear the eastern part of the state got much more, eyeballing the snowfall out the =window I'd guestimate no more than six inches at most. Not very impressive for something heralded as an historic storm. As I've often notice though, Springfield and the Pioneer Valley in general tends to be sheltered from the worst of winter storms.
Taught my class. Tended to the mammals that are under my care. Demetrius is sleeping because he was up all night working on a project. Paid projects are good. Feeling alone in a house full of people (kids are "wired" into one thing or another)...not so much.
Foggy on the way to work this morning, at worst about 100 yards visibility (headlights twice that). When the sun came up (or maybe just because I was in the right place) it disappeared completely; clear, blue sky, if a bit cool (about 32-34 deg. F) and calm. ER has been on a tear since about 9 AM and is still packed.
Howard's the ONE!
ReplyDeleteStay safe all you Northers!
Cat! What's your snowfall total?
ReplyDeleteFam in Maine got at least 27", maybe close to 30"!
We got about 6" here.

DeleteBeautiful, sunny day today.
Mr. Outdoor Kitty came in around midnight and stayed until Dad went out in the afternoon. Surely this is a good thing.

DeleteThanks, Cat.
DeleteSome good news--kitten Madonna and 9 year old Stevie are becoming friends, playing together and sleeping on the same chair.
Excellent!
