Connecticut, Maine and Rhode Island have also now issues states of emergency. New Hampshire is taking a pass. As I have family along the NH coast, I'm a bit annoyed. Couldn't they have declared a state of emergency for the coastal counties at least? It gives people more freedom to go home from work and allows more funds for tending roadways, etc.
Happy, though, that Daughter's flight made it in to Boston from Germany before the storm got bad.
So glad, Listener, Daughter made it in before the storm! They said on the news thousands of flights have been disrupted - four thousand? A lot anyway. Such a relief hers was not among them!
We could use a DEAN sighting around here, eh?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how Cat will fare, as she's in the path of the Blizzard's power.
ReplyDeleteCheck in when you can, please, Catreona! =^. .^=
Well, I bit the bullet and blogged the plagiarism story at Big Orange.
ReplyDeleteJust heard that they've closed Massachusetts ahead of the worst of the blizzard. Hope you're all tucked in, Cat!

DeleteBack to work tomorrow. Mah*Sweetie is going to come shovel out the Library so I'm not out in the wind (10F and 20mph). I'm starting to lose my voice.
ReplyDeleteHow can you be expected to go to work!
DeleteVery appropriate pic and title. We definitely have snow.
