    Egad--sounds like drawing (as in drawing and quartering). Maybe I need to see the sample...

    listener--merciful heavens; you and yours surely DO need a break. {{{Hugzzz}}}

    1. No worries, Alan, I was able to delete them.

      Doesn't everyone see both a Reply and a Delete button after every post?

    2. No. I see a reply button after every post. I only see a delete button after my own posts.

  3. Making up for continually deleting my responses to listener, Alan. . . .

    And listener, yes: too much!! And many hugs. Indeed.

  4. OMG! I hate, hate, HATE word verifications you must type before your comment is posted! I absolutely cannot read them and never, ever get them right. There are a few blogs I'd love to comment on, but it's just impossible. I guess I'm a robot.

    1. And as far as I know you aren't even legally blind (as I am). I, too, absolutely hate those capitchas. Although I was surprised to learn yesterday that sometime in the past I had managed to successfully create an account at Huffington Post.

    2. I once had an account at Huff Po, but for some reason they delete every single post I make. I gave up trying a year or two ago. And I didn't even cuss! Don't know what their problem is. Since Ariana sold a share of it, it has really deteriorated. Lurid headlines that have nothing to do with the story, etc.

  5. Really discouraging to see all the Romney yard signs on the way to Staunton. I *know* it's the Shenandoah Valley, and it was never going to vote for Obama. But still: discouraging. . . .

    May do a whole lot more fasting and praying from now till the election. I feel really helpless. . . .

    2. And, needless to say, there are very few Romney voters in Oak Park, Illinois. :-)
