  2. We got There and Back Again!

While unloading the car two meteors zoomed by overhead! The first was especially bright!!

We had good visits and are very tired. Hope all is well here. More when I can.

  3. Anybody got a suggestion?

I can receive email just fine, but one of my two addresses won't send email, the other will...and they are set up the same. I have no idear what messed it up.

  4. Still very tired. The amount of work the boy accomplished on many fronts is absolutely amazing! Water about two thirds done (I can access it any time I want, just by putting the pump in the river and hooking up the electric). Whole bunch of windows now double glazed. A 100' dog run, and a tie out stake offer Beau a good bit more exercise possibilities -- and he was careful to make sure the leads overlapped. Beau's one happy puppy baby. Lights are up, rooms cleaned, glass replaced, shower rod up. Dirt moved, a bit of stonework on the terrace. All trash burned, and a fire set for the next visit, which he says will be soon. Turns out that the stock tank is leaking all away around the bottom seam, so needs caulking -- next trip. Meanwhile, I can bring the hose into the house, directly to the waterkeeper under the sink, and fill it up in about three minutes. *Never* had this much water since I've been here!

Today's going to be, largely, sleeping it off, lol!

  6. 'Tis sweet. My youngest turns 45 on Halloween. . . . Poor kid *never* had a birthday cake without a Halloween theme, and the birthday dinner was *never* uninterrupted by trick or treaters.

Do the two accounts have different outgoing (SMTP) servers? If so, one server may be down.

  8. Robert and Monica lost their baby today. No reason that anyone can see. She was due in December. I feel so bad for them, he has been rejoicing. Mae was 2 pounds 4 ounces, and 15" long. They got to hold her and sing to her.

  10. Ooohhhhhh, so sad indeed. It is good they got to hold her and sing to her. How incredibly painful to not get to keep her. They will always be parents now, without the perks. I'm sending forward an extra prayer for them for December, knowing that it will be difficult to see all the Madonna and Child motifs during the Advent and Christmas seasons.

    ((( ♡ Mae ♡ )))
In the end it's all about Love.
I'm glad they got to sing wee Mae a love song.

  11. They have a 17 month baby girl, who lights up his eyes. But that doesn't make losing one any easier I don't think. He had a beautiful story he brought to the BBB about Mae's amniocentesis that was very moving.
