Coming down the other side...

...to an old familiar path. Now I can get to the ridge trail from either end!

Cat, that was totally lovely, and listener's response could easily have been mine! And booya about the dentist in any weather!

listener, I'd be holding on to my hate, and putting money away for college for *that* little. . . .

  3. Howard's first dangit, and this wretched software ATE my neat firstie!! This time it was NOT me.

Cat, what a totally lovely memory, and I agree with listener all the way! And boo on the dentist early or late cold or warm. . . .

listener, you better start putting money in the bank for a college education for *that* little, lol!

  4. Well, 12º this morning, about 17º now, and a projected high of 26º ~~ but warmer tomorrow, and an outright tropical 45º for Saturday before starting back down for the next week.

  5. We got the tub as far as the studio. Putting it in the bathroom, plumbing it, moving the wall needs to wait until next visit (New Year's). Boy's now occupied caulking, replacing electrical outlets, etc. Have I mentioned how much I love handymen that show up and work for meals and a pallet on the floor? And are appreciative of your cooking? Puts 23 hours of labor into perspective, lol!

  6. I suspect we're looking at a post doc at CalTech or MIT. Papa's gonna have to stay on his toes.

  7. Hi, Alan.

BTW I keep forgetting to thank you for the detailed time brake down the other day. Your explanation of how long certain activities take led me to revise the time period in question from an hour to an hour and a half.

  11. Just got home from work! I did great, felt good, remembered how to do everything and didn't ache at all, just a little haziness creeping into my voice during the last hour. The one mistake I made all day was when I answered the phone for the first time after two weeks away. I picked up the receiver and said, "Hopkins Bookshop, this is..." LOL!!! I know I worked at the Bookshop for 11 year, but yesterday marked one year since I started working at the Library and I've NEVER made that mistake before! Why now? We all laughed, and it wasn't a patron calling, just a sales guy. I am sooo glad it wasn't a Library Trustee! Ha!

  17. Hold down the "alt" key next to the space bar and the hit 167 on the number pad, then release the alt key, and voila! And please know that I've been most patiently waiting for *someone* to ask me that, lol! So thank you! Works in emails, too.
