An expansion of my last-minute post re Worldcon dates: There was a time when Worldcon was always Labor Day weekend, but that was years ago. For a couple of decades the date has been variable, usually in August. If Worldcon is in Chicago it will be Labor Day weekend because of all the summer festivals, but that is specific to Chicago.
I'm on five panels: Disability and Worldbuilding Anarchy in Fantasy Worlds Is Interplanetary War Possible? Interstellar Life: Trade in a Sublight Universe C. L. Moore: The Midwest's Queen of Science Fiction
Oooohhh, I want to investigate the posts here, but it must wait tonight. We're getting up early to pick up two grands for a visit through the weekend. Lots of fun awaits!
August primaries seem weird to someone whose primary is in Mrch.
