Thank you! ❤️ Our plan to eat out at a nice restaurant had to take a rain check on this sunny day, as Spinnaker kitty's UTI is resurging. We got takeout from the local Snack Bar. Hot date. LOL
Our vet's office is closed on weekends. Neither of the emergency vet places we have visited recently would help us with Spinnaker's UTI (including the place that we initially visited in the middle of the night for it), unless we were to bring Spinnaker in to be checked. We already knew that her vet said if the UTI comes back she will need a different antibiotic, as she had cultured it and it was e-coli. To make it more frustrating, we had a urine sample all ready for her vet's office on Friday, so it could be double-checked to see if the UTI was still clear, but our vet said that wasn't necessary. We refrigerated it anyway and have that one plus one from today to bring in first thing tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, we're giving her pain meds to help her get through the night.
