We were extirpating and eradicating weeds in the front yard this afternoon. Part of the time I was working in direct Fresno sun, and I probably should have been drinking more water as well as taking one or two salt tablets. Whether those things are related to it or not, I found my mind wandering to various subjects, both political and literary. I found myself wondering if the tome that led off yesterday's thread might contain a recipe section. -----Alan
