The Stairs are Renovated!
The stairway is done! Wil DIY'd it all over the course of five weeks… painting the walls and trim, removing old carpet and pad, staining the treads, painting the risers, rebuilding the entire landing, placing tread pads, then securing the new runner. The cats are so relieved the stairs are soft again and offer a little traction.

I’m posting on her Facebook page now. Even though Facebook wouldn’t let her access it her friends still can.
I'm not a Facebook guy. It just occurred to me that I could come here and post about mom...I moved her out of hospice into a rehab facility on Wednesday. I'm not giving up on her without a fight. But sleep is creeping over her and I can't shake it off of her.
I moved her on Wednesday but I’m thinking the rehab is too little too late.
Spent most of Saturday with mom. She's looking worse. Afflicted by pain in back and legs. Her memory is going too, can't remember what I just said to her 5 minutes ago, or couldn't hear/understand what I said.
She knows people are following though she is beginning to forget names or can’t hear/understand when I say names. She is still holding on to your bear though. Thank you. 🧸
