Meanwhile, the House traitors (plus Bernie, for reasons of Israel’s cruelty) are holding up billions in aid to Ukraine. Is it time for the states to individually allocate funds to Ukraine? I’d give up some local perks to help them.
I think it's time for the Administration to issue "perpetual" bonds [AKA Consols]. It can be done without congressional involvement or permission because technically they are considered assets rather than debts. The US hasn't issued them since 1930 (to pay off Great War expenses). ---Alan
“The U.S. has proposed that working groups from the G7 explore ways to seize $300bn in frozen Russian assets, as the allies rush to agree a plan in time for the second anniversary of Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine,” the Financial Times reports. ----Alan
I know that Hamas embedded itself among the civilian population. But when the Boston Marathon Bomber hid in a backyard in Watertown MA, police didn't bomb the town to make sure they killed the guy. So, I don't understand. So far, Israel has killed 15 people for every Israeli killed or taken hostage, and the vast majority of them are innocent people. There was a time in history when if someone committed a crime then their entire family or even entire village would be killed in retaliation. But the Hebrew people chose to take a more fair approach of "an eye for an eye" rather than a whole village full. Clearly, what is happening now has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with politics and power. Netanyahu, like DT, and like the leaders of Hamas, should be in prison. My heart goes out to all the innocent and distraught Israeli and Palestinian people.
