We are home from our overnight visit with Youngest, Artsy*DIL, and three grands, ages 10, 8 and 5 (the 8 year old being the creator of the Calm Down Bunny...which my friend Rebecca believes the Middle East truly needs).
Cooter left just after six thirty last night zigzag mountain road, freezing temps possible snow, so I was relieved at the I'm home email this morning. Everything got done, including a cardinal that got caught in a pumpkin cage.
Didn't start as a cage, but a fence, which got a lid added when the deer wouldn't leave the pumpkins alone. Cardinal got nosy, and alas, caught. So good deed in freeing him.
I first envisioned one of those guys in the red hat and robes caught inside a huge jack-o-lantern. . . but figured out that the oversize jack-o-lantern didn't make sense. Glad you let him loose. ---Alan

DeleteI assume you mean he freed the cardinal…?
It’s always good to hear the kid got home…and trebly so when the roads are slick!
