(Susan). I did two important things. I downloaded all 45 pages of the Indictment, went to the kitchen, fired up my Whirly Pop and made a big tub of popcorn. I read every single word of the indictment with pleasure and enjoyed every bit of popcorn the same way. The only bad thing is that trump will probably call up more violence. Candace Owens is actually correct. It is all the fault of women. If women would just resume their subordinate position, manage the household and reproduce the population for free, everything would be hunky dorrie. The civil rights agenda was not supposed to apply to women.

Former President Donald Trump has been informed he has been indicted by a federal grand jury regarding Special Counsel Jack Smithâs probe into Trumpâs efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, ABC News reports. There are four criminal charges against Trump in the 45-page indictment [linked] The indictment says Trump sought âto make his knowingly false claims appear legitimate, create an intense national atmosphere of mistrust and anger and erode public faith in the administration of the election.â There are also six co-conspirators who have not yet been identified â four attorneys, a Justice Department official and a political consultant. Trump was summoned to appear in federal court on August 3 at 4 p.m. ET.
It sure took long enough coming, but seems thorough and like it will stick. The big question is whether this can make it through the court before the election. The people really deserve to know before voting. Interesting that the Mar-A-Lago trial got put off aways. Could that be so that there's room for this one first?
Just watched Jack Smith's press statement; all business, no frills, absolutely typical for him. I cannot help but be reminded of the dramatically contrasting political aftermath of the Reichstag fire. ----Alan
Had my 4th doctor visit in the past month today, and was given yet another med to try. Hoping this one works because I had wicked insomnia last night and didn't get to sleep until 4:30am. Sure wish I knew why.
Many things up here have 4-6 months wait time. Someone posted an article this week about a guy who got lucky and got right in with a malady and it saved his life. A comment I read said that the wait time for the same thing in Boston is about an hour. We need more doctors up here, I guess!
It was months, although not quite 6, before Penny was able to see either a nephrologist or a neurologist. In fact, she never did see a nephrologist before her fatal kidney failure. One appointment had to be rescheduled because of the doctor's COVID.
Trump Draws Judge Known For Taking Tough Line On Jan. 6 Cases Josh Kovensky noted below that Smith and Trump will have Tanya Chutkan presiding over this case.
Chutkan, an Obama appointee, has handled a lot of January 6 cases already, and taken a distinctive approach to them, often handing out sentences that are tougher than those asked for by prosecutors. âIt has to be made clear that trying to violently overthrow the government, trying to stop the peaceful transition of power and assaulting law enforcement officers in that effort is going to be met with absolutely certain punishment,â she said while sentencing one in December 2021. She also handled Trumpâs dispute with the congressional January 6 Committee, when he sought to withhold records citing executive privilege. âPresidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not President,â she memorably wrote in her ruling rejecting that argument.
