Perennial Pansy!?!

Pansies have always been annuals in NW Vermont.  However!
Amazingly, this one grew back and flowered a week ago!

    Are pansies ever perennial?
Are pansies annuals or perennials? Pansies are typically classified as biennials, or short-lived perennials, because they will sometimes return for a second season of bloom, especially in areas with cool summers and moderate winters, such as the Pacific Northwest.

P.S.: On the way home from a visit this afternoon I looked at the the car outside temperature gauge (which I don't fully trust) and it said 79F.

    4. I have turned the heat back on in Georgia because it is 62° and windy with overcast. The houses are not well insulated in the south.

    2. Well, they figured that's what would happen. /shrug/

But that still leaves one district without a rep. That is a situation that will have to be addressed...at some point.
