  1. FYI, Justin Jones was voted back into the Tennessee House by his people and returned to the chamber on Monday.
Justin J. Pearson was also voted back in by his people and will return on Wednesday.

    1. In both instances they return on a temporary basis until a special election can be held.
Sure do hope the voters do the right thing...again.

    2. I hadn't yet heard about the second member being restored to office; glad to hear it. Thanks.

    3. Lawrence: TN Dem Justin J. Pearson echoes Dr. King’s voice of hope [Click] Yes, a very good public speaker. I should be very happy to have such a representative; his skill is suited to a larger stage.

That is likely what the conservatives were hoping would happen. Now they will seek to replace those election officials with conservatives.

    2. If "conservative" means "radical."

Cooter took his son, age 28, and his dad, age 95, out for lunch and a look at his boat, which is on dry land. The hull is fiber glass. And he wants it painted before the season starts. Happy Easter!!

Three generations on the boat! Wonderful!

We very much want to paint our boat’s bottom. It’s not peeling or anythin, but had three coats on it now. We’ll have that paint taken off professionally in the Autumn and repaint it with better paint come Autumn, with a final coat in the Spring. Or maybe just do it all next Spring ~ whichever is best for the boat..

I’m not pro-abortion, but I am definitely pro-choice! And this:

“We should all be enraged that one judge can unilaterally reject medical evidence and overrule the FDA's approval of a medication that has been safely and effectively used for more than two decades."

~ Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America

DOJ files appeal after judge reverses FDA approval of abortion drug

Conservatives making medical decisions is even worse than insurance companies overriding doctors.

    2. Next I suppose that judge will arrogate to himself command of the armed forces.

    3. Well...yeah. If any actual conservatives exist anymore. Were I one, I'd be calling myself a moderate or some other term not so dripping these days with disgustingness. (Yes, I felt a new word was required.)

  5. Video: Manhattan DA hits back at Jim Jordan. [Click] Short interview with Gavin Newsom starting at about 4:25 minutes; darned if he doesn’t sound good enough that I might be able to overlook some of the things he has done that I don’t approve of.
