Christmas Eve Bluebirds, after a Rainbow!
Like Sweet Miracles:
In the middle of the high wind and driving rain yesterday,
this Rainbow appeared for about 5 minutes.
Not only have we never seen a Winter rainbow here in 40 years of living here (and it was to the west, when usually they appear to our east), we were just visited by some Bluebirds! We haven't had Bluebirds here in YEARS, even in Summer!

How lovely to have rainbows and bluebirds for Christmas Eve. as well as Cat!
ReplyDeleteAlso 11 degrees, 8 higher than yesterday.
Both rainbows and bluebirds on Christmas Eve must surely be good omens.
ReplyDeleteCurrently 12 degrees here.
Hi Puddle!
Hi back!
ReplyDeleteI think it got all the way up to 10 here. Roads are very slippery. (We just got back from Christmas Eve service.)
ReplyDeleteWe got down to 10 last night and it's 11 here now. But! The temp is now on it's way up and will be in the 40's by the end of the week. So, I guess that was Winter...brief and intense.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas puddle, Cat and Renee! We "attended" the Christmas Eve service via Zoom. But it was nice.
Both sons got their electric power back just after dark. So Root*Center*Son drove home to check on things and all was well there. =Whew!= Eldest just needed to turn off his generator and take life easier. So good.
Daughter and the two grands are still sick with flu. Day 6 of a fever for Youngest*Grand (age 3). They are having Christmas anyway, and that will help.
There is nothing about this season that we are taking for granted. But we are in the best company. After all, that first Christmas wasn't comfortable.
Can I just say that I LOVED coming here and finding the three of you, plus Alan, all here tonight! Let's keep this camraderie afloat! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
