The aerial photo at the beginning of the article seems to show a fallen section of the roadway to the far right that I hadn’t noticed before.
“Massive Russian air strikes on Monday which targeted cities all over Ukraine, killing civilians and damaging infrastructure, were presented by Moscow as a response to the attack on the bridge. However, analysts say the strikes must have been prepared weeks in advance.”
Some of the early trees here are turning color and dropping their leaves. Mostly brilliant yellow. Note that most these trees were planted by the village in the parkway between sidewalk and street.
Peter Zeihan: Russian petroleum, refined petroleum products, wheat, and sunflower oil exports are expected to go off-line VERY soon. [Click] They have pissed off way too many people (e.g. insurers and shipping companies) upon whom their exports depend. Granted that Peter Zeihan can (in my estimation) be overly dramatic, this could be rather more interesting and sooner for Mr. Putin and Russians in general than they had anticipated.
