OK, but all attention-seekers care about is attention. They do not care what kind. So, they say whatever works. I was going to write "say and do," but Donald does not do. He gets made up a couple of hours every day so his profile can look like the head on a liberty coin.
Investigations are supposed to be confidential. If people interviewd are leaking to the press, it is likely because they have an agenda that the investigation is unlikely to validate. Do you remember when Jimmy Carter's brother was investigated? It falls under the Republican commitment to "family values."
US graduate students protest against low pay while universities profit from their work [Click] I can certainly sympathize with them given the recent tremendous increase in housing costs; a lot of them were probably suckered into considerable debt by the guaranteed student loan racket as undergraduates, too. But graduate school never was remunerative. I had no auto, and gave up meat and store-bought bread, to mention but three economies. A spouse was simply out of the question. Nowadays there are students living in converted box trucks in some places. (The trick is to make it look like a bog-standard commercial truck such as a carpenter, electrician or plumber might use.)
I can't shake the feeling that the claim that Putin is "misinformed" by his advisors is simply an offer of face saving towards Putin, so he might dump the blame on his advisors and end the war.
Remember that LBJ's advisors were telling him what he wanted to hear rather than the true state of affairs. It was when he discovered that that he decided not to run for reelection. I find it _very_ believable that Putin's advisors are doing the same.
If things continue down their current track, I think Putin's advisors are probably headed for the gulag no matter what they tell him--unless he ties himself into a deck chair and hops into the swimming pool. Unless they go to the front and get themselves killed. Small choice.
If it's actually true intelligence, I still think it's brilliant of them to be talking about it so much...in hopes that Putin will notice the news and start thinking twice about what he has been being told. Mind you, I doubt he will change course in Ukraine because of it, but perhaps it will serve to splinter his supporters or spark a mutiny.
Yeah, and I am SO frustrated! CVS says they can't give the shots for about two weeks until it is cleared by their HR. So I called my doctor's office and they say they are waiting for the State Dept of Health to issue guidance. But our State Epidemiologist has said only that it doesn't seem needed until the Fall when flu shots are given. I certainly hope that changes!! Wil and I had hoped to get our 2nd booster this Friday so we could feel sick all weekend and be protected ahead of a family gathering the following weekend. Sigh.

“Truth Social has been such a disappointment so far, Trump may have to rename it to ‘Don Jr.,’” Kimmel sniped last month."
This pleases me.

Trump publicly asks Putin to release information on Hunter Biden

President Donald Trump is calling for Russian President Vladimir Putin to release information on Hunter Biden based on an unsubstantiated claim."
I think Alan's suggestion of Fort Jefferson for trump is most appropriate.
