Here’s one I’d never read before that stood out for me today…

The one I found particularly impressive when I visited the MLK memorial last month was the one that is #2 here: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

Thoughts beget words, and words beget actions. It seems rather difficult to believe the authorities couldn't figure out some way to lean on the offender if they wanted to.
Penny has now been transferred from the ICU to a regular hospital room. Things are progressing, although it is not entirely certain how far her recovery will go. A full recovery to the status quo ante appears at least plausible
