  1. When and where might it be available?

    1. I have to finish the last two chapters first. Then I have to see if a publisher wants it. I'll self-publish if I don't get any interest in the first few tries, but hope to have a publisher to help with marketing and stuff.

    1. Yes, I'm very happy with this cover. And it wasn't particularly expensive.

    2. The author being pleased with the cover is more rare than you may know. You have to wonder sometimes if the artist ever read the material. But when it works it makes all the difference!

    3. Oh, yes, the horror stories of authors seeing cover art for the first time, all too often once the book has been published.

Remember, Bill, I want to see those last two chapters. All this time I've been wondering what happened next! :)

  4. OHIO; COVID cases 970,583 and (this is where it gets weird) 16,750 deaths. (Yesterday's death total was 17,346) Don't know what they're smokin' over there.

    1. Susan, they've changed it now to 17,348 ... which would only be 2 more than yesterday, so that's great.

  6. In Vermont, it was Town Meeting (not) Day.
The first Tuesday in March has long been Vermont’s annual Town Meeting Day, where residents meet by town to hash out which roads should get paved this year, and vote on the town budget, etc. We just squeaked by last year, before Covid shut everything down. This year there have been Zoom meetings and we voted our ballots by mail. We dropped ours off in the ballot box outside our Town Hall.

    1. If it were not for Zoom, perhaps matters could have been dealt in a way used occasionally by the ancient Greeks: elect a tyrant for a year.

    2. Um, no thanks. LOL. We don't have a mayor or town manager; we have a town council and a town clerk. This approach works fine.

    3. I guess it is the clasicsist in me that suggested the possibility. . .
